May 30th 2023 Meeting

During Tuesdays meeting with board members our focus was to address supply chain issues. Lately we have been noticing a major decline in the quality of service from carriers at our facilities. We aim to solve this issue to get supply chain back on track. The quality of trucks which are constantly having break downs in the lot, being late or some times not showing at all is in our opinion a direct result of  quality carriers not being paid adequately. We have been paying on average $6 a mile for shipping and it is no secret that spot market between Freight Broker and carriers have been less than $2 a mile. Freight Brokers we do not control what you pay carriers however immediately we need to see a change in quality of service, a policy change which compensates quality carriers fairly and an increase in efficiency in supply chain. We will be having a meeting with 3pl who we feel have been model and discussing strategies.”
